PRIVACY POLICY
1-2-Trips is a car service and Medical transportation located in Peekskill, NY. 1-2-Trips provides airport transportation service, limousine service and shuttle service (Coming Soon). Registered in the State of NY and licensed by the New York State Department of State and Department of Transportation with the Westchester County Taxi and Limousine Commission. 1-2-Trips provides transportation services within Westchester County as well as New York State with an interstate license (Coming soon).
Our calculator, pricing, coupons and availability are the property or are legally licensed to 1-2-Trips and therefore are not to be used, compared, borrowed or interpreted without the written authorization of 1-2-Trips Inc.
PRICING:
1-2-Trips uses its own pricing model and for this reason, pricing throughout our domains or quotes received over the phone are not to be used elsewhere but within the scope of 1-2-Trips's pricing.
COUPONS:
1-2-Trips uses various websites and search engines as well as advertisement elsewhere to promote its services. Therefore, discounts, coupons and other fare reduction obtained elsewhere should be checked FIRST with 1-2-Trips before purchase is made on other domains as pricing frequently fluctuates based on the price of gas, tax and government laws.
THE CONTRACT:
A verbal promise to pay us cash on the day of service is a binding contract and therefore:
- 1-2-Trips allows their customers to pay an advance on a trip as low as 25% on a credit card with the balance "Promised" to be paid on the day of the service.
* Any cancellation within 24 hours of the time of pickup will forfeit the 25% deposit.
* Cancellations, no-shows, no availability of the client once the driver is at the client's pick up location within 30 minutes of the time of pick up is considered a no-show and therefore the trip will be considered made and all monies paid that trip will be forfeited. In other words, if a driver shows up on time on a confirmed trip and the client is a no-show or cannot be found within 30 minutes, that trip will be considered consumed and all monies paid in advance lost.
* Rebooking is considered when the cancellation is made within 48 hours with a $25 re-booking fee.
* THERE ARE NO REFUND ON BOOKINGS, only future credit is available for bookings cancelled before 48 hours of time of travel with an extra $25 rebooking fee.
* Pricing across our domain is for 1 passenger. Any additional passenger is charged a $10 extra fare
* Kids under 10 years old travel free, 11 year-olds are considered adults and travel at full fare
* 1 child under 10 is free, any additional child is booked at a $10 fee
* Every child safety seat is rented at $10 for each trip. Clients are welcome to bring their own seat, up to two seats per trip.
* It is the responsibility of the client to determine the pick up time based on the flight time. For international flights, it is advised to be at the airport at least two full hours before take off for the security and luggage check. For local flights, up to 1 hour to 1.5 hour before the flight. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the client to let the transporter know of any changes to their plans or flight delays, cancellations or rescheduling.
* Special measures will be taken in case of natural occurrences such as heavy rains, storms, route blockage or any other serious weather or natural disaster occurrences. The client will be advised as to either prepare to leave early or consider a cancellation of their trip with minor loss of their advance payment.
* It is the responsibility of 1-2-Trips to provide the client with a timely and safe trip to their booked location.
* It is noted and understood that 1-2-Trips, based on driver and vehicle availability and calendar, might substitute the clients preferred assigned driver or vehicle with an equal capacity vehicle for the same trip at the same pick up times.
* 1-2-Trips welcomes ideas, at its own discretion, to bend their fare to match that of a competitor if the client can provide the full and total fare of that competitor and the verifiable source of that pricing. This process does not include competitors' special bonuses, discounts or promotions.
* Any quote given or received verbally or online on our website DOES NOT CONSTITUTE a contract. A transaction becomes a contract once a payment of at least 25% of the full fare has been made by the client or in person.
* A reservation made without a deposit does not constitute a booking until at least 25% of the full amount has been paid to 1-2-Trips. Therefore, 1-2-Trips reserve the right to change or cancel any booking that has no deposit and to notify the client at least 72 hours before the day of the trip. This allows the client to consider other venues.
* 1-2-Trips is allowing for a flexible Service charge choice at the final stage of the booking process. It is advisable to pay the 20% of the fare as gratuities, but the company allows for a $20 or $15 flat amounts to be paid.
* Translation and Google Maps: 1-2-Trips uses its Google Maps business API setting for maps and Google Translation for an attempt to translate the website in all popular languages. 1-2-Trips is not responsible for wrong addresses input by the client at the time of booking and 1-2-Trips is not responsible for the translation errors or misquoting in other currencies. The terms on its website were written in American English and the base currency is the US DOLLAR.
* 1-2-Trips is not responsible for FEES charged by the customer's bank for payment of their fare or fees incurred while converting any foreign bank's currency into the dollar or even any fluctuation between the dollar and any foreign currencies. Furthermore, 1-2-Trips is not responsible for overdraft fee incurred at the customer's bank due to the payment of their fare for transportation services. It is the responsibility of the client to check their bank account or credit card balance before making a purchase. Money paid for transportation is withdrawn from the client's account instantly at the time of the booking. 1-2-Trips booking process provides a two-step verification before the booking is finalized. The customer will agree that their want to pay the full amount before they are taken to the Paypal secure website to finalize their purchase.
* Unless expressly authorized and given details, 1-2-Trips DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLIENTS CREDIT CARD INFORMATION as all payment are made through Paypal secure payment systems.
* Bookings not paid in full in advance can be completed at the time of travel in cash or through a Square Credit Card Terminal with the driver. A receipt for these booking will them be emailed to the client on the spot.
* A round trip fare is secure only if the booking was made as such in the first place. Any two trips booked separately might have a different fare. For savings purposes, the client in encourage to book a round trip at once.
* Clients are welcome to tip their driver at their own discretion.
ISSUES
Any issues related to advance fare, discounts, coupons etc should be discussed directly with 1-2-Trips.
1-2-Trips is not responsible for a client misquoting, wrong address input or misreading of our fare calculator. Any issue should be discussed on the phone with an Agent at 1-2-Trips BEFORE the booking is made.
CONCLUSION
Our fare engine provides a free calculator to our clients, but the contract becomes legal once any monies is paid by the client.
